My name is Pascal, I'm a Data Scientist currently supporting Porsche in uncovering the potential of data in Aftersales. Feel free to have a look at some of my past projects, get to know me better or to connect with me.
I was lucky enough to discover my passion for Data Science through an internship during my bachelor's degree at the end of 2017. Since then, I have been able to gain a lot of knowledge through my studies and my work in industrial companies.
A large part of my work deals with the prediction of future events. During my studies, I acquired the theoretical foundations of Time Series Analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. During my internships and my full-time work, I was able to expand my experience in real life classification, regression and clustering problems.
Even though the topic of Machine Learning is very exciting, my experience has taught me that you shouldn't always start with the most complex approach, but rather with the simplest and most comprehensible one. Many different Data Analytics methods allow you to reveal unknown patterns or show correlations. I really like to dive into statistics here.
My practical experience has already allowed me to work with huge amounts of data. Cloud Computing is essential here. I have experience with various cloud solutions and feel particularly comfortable coding in Databricks. However, Edge Computing is also an interesting alternative that I was able to dive into during my bachelor's studies.
An essential area in Data Science is to prepare the data in such a way that you or the customer can derive insights from it. Therefore, the appropriate presentation of the data is an important component. As a minor subject and hobby, I have also developed the skills to build my own web apps, such as this one.
In the following you will find a few projects of mine, which I have worked on in my spare time or in the context of a study subject. I have deliberately chosen projects from different fields to reflect my versatile insights into a wide variety of topics. However, my current focus remains on Data Science.
